Sharon Cattich

Sharon Cattich is a classically trained oboist and pianist. She began her love-affair with music at the age of seven when she was first introduced to the piano. Sharon played piano for most of her youth before picking up an oboe and beginning an orchestral career with the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association. At the age of eighteen she travelled to Oberlin, OH to attend Oberlin Conservatory of Music. While there, Sharon continued to study piano and oboe performance. She has taught lessons and coached local orchestral groups since 1996 and performs with the Gig Harbor Peninsula Symphony in addition to performing piano in the greater Tacoma area. She is twenty-seven years old and loves teaching and performing music more than anything else in the world!

Marcia Whitney Pratt has 36 years classical and contemporary teaching experience. She has a B. Mus. Educ. Crane School of Music Postam, NY. and a Masters Psych. of Mus. Educ., College of St. Rose, Albany NY. Private Vocal/Piano studies Antwerp, Belgium.
